More than a website, we assembled a last-long IT consulting partnership with Opera Omaha.

About The Client

Opera Omaha, the only professional opera company in Nebraska, began in 1958 as the Omaha Civic Opera Society, a volunteer association. With tremendous community support, it became an entirely professional opera company by 1970. It is internationally known for producing eight world premieres and four American premieres of classical masterpieces.

The Challenge

The Opera Omaha website goes beyond being an information center. It’s also a source of connection with the community, a channel for promoting its events, and a means to make its actions visible and ask for support for its operations.

We established a strategy to execute Opera Omaha's requirements based on their deadlines and needs, including automated tests to ensure quality.

Main Goals

Implement new functionalities and tools without affecting the website’s operation, identify the technical skills required to execute the task, and efficiently allocate a team within DNAMIC.

The Solution

With our expertise in IT consulting, we established a multi-step strategy that was executed efficiently. Our resources were first trained in the website’s CMS technology (Kirby) and then able to manage the changes in less than a month.

We didn't take the project as an update to Opera Omaha's website technology. We offered to consult for continuous improvement, performance, and the next steps for future technology upgrades.

The Results

We developed an updated project and new functionalities within budget and within the established time frame of a month. Our developers successfully implemented the latest tools, and the website passed the quality tests. Only one bug was found after launch, which our developers fixed immediately.
